Khedive's Sudan Medal 1896-1908The Khedive's Sudan Medal 1896 1908, instituted in 1897 by the Khedive of Egypt to be given to all those who took part in the reconquest of Dongola province in the Sudan 1896 98 as well as subsequent operations in the southern provinces. Crews of the Royal Naval ships HMS Melita and HMS Scout received this medal without clasps for the Dongola operations but were not awarded the Queens Sudan Medal. The most commonly seen clasps are the Atbara and
