Description
1909-O Barber Half Dollar (G-VG)The 1909 O Barber Half Dollar, graded G (Good) to VG (Very Good), is a coin from the Barber series, designed by Charles E. Barber, with Liberty on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse. In VG condition, the coin shows moderate wear, with most of the key details still visible, including Liberty's profile and the reverse design of the eagle and shield. The "O" mintmark indicates it was struck at the New Orleans Mint, and its relatively low mintage
depicting Liberty standing with a shield and olive branch on the obverse
making it a sought-after piece for collectors of both Peace Dollars and error coins
with the features of Lady Liberty and the eagle on the reverse still clearly defined but softened
This 2009 Gold Double Eagle is a rare collectible coin of the highest quality
The addition of arrows next to the date in 1854 signified a change in the coin's weight
like Liberty's figure and the eagle
is a notable coin in the Flying Eagle series
The “With Rays” variety
it strikes a good balance between historical significance and affordability
but still retains a substantial amount of original mint luster
with clear details and minimal wear
with Liberty’s headband partially visible and some detail remaining in the hair and wreath
