This depicts a newly arrived male during that wonderful spring migration period when everything seems to be coming alive at once

which seemed to be the best available representation I could produce

Love how they don’t just toss it

but all is living or about to live

and the Chestnut-sided Warbler is a good example of why : ) Wanted a simple treatment for this as I felt the bird here does most of the heavy lifting
