HONES 2HONES 2 Austrian artist Gabi Mitterer's main focus is painting, but she will switch to photography, sculpture or embroidery if it better conveys an idea. I like this contradiction of bringing new media or ideas together with old, traditional techniques and tools, says the artist. In a time when images can be created and deleted in seconds, Gabi strives to use an old, traditional and slow medium like painting.
