StibniteThis specimen comprises several highly lustrous, sharp, metallic silvery sword shaped crystals of Stibnite forming a very aesthetic crystal spray. Virtually no notable damage that I can see with the naked eye. A great classic Bolivian Stibnite specimen. This piece came out in the early 1980s when there was a large find of some superb Stibnites from this mine. Specimen # BOL711B277

A classic “V”-shaped twin (twinned along the {100} face) of Ferberite from the famous Tasna mine in far southern Bolivia

The matrix is a mix of Sphalerite

but the back and base are contacted where the piece separated from the pocket wall
