BARGAIN BIN!!! - 210cm Eggen 1970s Wood Cross-Country Racing Skis - Professionally Restored!!!Here in New England we call this a BAHgain, and a bargain it is. Beautiful pair of 210 hickory ligno Eggen racing skis from the early 1970s. Tops have been cleaned and protected with a shiny coat of urethane. You want camber? I got your camber RIGHT HERE!!! Springy skis with race ready restored bases. Eggen skis were a product of the Engerdal Skifabrikk in eastern Norway. The skis were named in honor of Gjermund Eggen, hero of the 1966 Nordic World

Not sure from where they originated

Normally we would refinish the tops with a shiny coat of lacquer

Stare off in the distance as your sip your favourite hot beverage and think about your visit

One of the poles has a slight split

So are you sold

Other than the graphics

Desirable orange accents - grips

we didn't have these perfectly light

Any nordic history nerd knows about the '82 worlds

Those Austrians sure know their skiing

bindings under the Kandahar name

a similar pair was owned by Henry David Thoreau in the 1850s
